SEPTEMBER 2025 MARKET UPDATE

We love this time of year! Though we're sad to see another summer behind us there is excitement in the air with the start of a new school year for many and the holidays are right around the corner. This is another busy time in real estate with new inventory finally coming on the market.

Summer 2025 saw more homes for sale but fewer buyers overall. Buyers are still excited about well-prepared and well-priced homes, homes needing work are tougher to sell. This highlights how important presale expert advice and preparation is. Even with more homes on the market and fewer sales, the median price increased by 1.9%. Marin remains a Seller's market since 2012, with a current 2.8 months supply of inventory.

Good news for buyers: the 30-year fixed mortgage rate hit an 11-month low, averaging 6.5%, this will meaningfully help boost buying power. We have highly experienced lenders who can provide many different options for your financing.
